Relationship I: Nuts And Bolts - Overview

Participants will:

• Be able to articulate what a "relationship" is, which qualities make relationships successful (healthy), and which qualities make relationships unsuccessful (unhealthy)
• Explore the nuances of expression of healthy relationship qualities
• Develop a sense of mutual responsibility for the health of relationships and sexual health among partners
• Explore the rights and responsibilities that go along with being in relationship to self and others.

Target audience: Grade 9s.

As teens move through their adolescence, romantic relationships become increasingly important. Adolescence is an important time to help teens develop healthy relationship skills. This module provides a foundation for understanding what healthy relationships look like.
