Human Sexuality: Overview

Although the training workshops in this resource are focused on addressing personal and social issues that influence sexual decision-making, it is important that the teen health educators have a broad understanding of healthy sexuality, sexual health, and when and where to refer their peers. You may want to access trainers through local nonprofits and community health nurses for parts of this section. There are also several resources available with training activities in this area of human sexuality. The activities provided in this section are intended to complement the factual information and provide opportunities to explore the subjective perception of sex and sexual health in society. Please note that participants in the following training modules refer to teens who are being trained as Teen Health Educators.
